Both of these statements from both Super Mrs C and Brent R just shows how narrow both your views on Asian Americans really are and are definitely part of the problem. Your old school way of looking at all Asians as this monolithic band of East Asians dismisses the struggles of all Asians. "NPR isn't producing; NPR is reporting" is just when it's in your favor, but when it's not in your favor, you'd have pitchforks out. For shame that your empathy doesn't extend beyond your own color lines.
