Except that, Bill, the author left out the small detail about Susan claiming that the couple assaulted her, which would NOT have happened had the couple been white. Also, Alice never got the cops called on her for not mowing her lawn and throwing out her couch. There's a big difference between complaining to the city and calling the cops and claiming someone is assaulting you because you stuck your nose in their business. Just sayin'.
