My first reaction? What the fuck. Seriously, what the actual fuck. Quickly followed by this is some shit, dude.

So it’s not enough that Michelle Wu is the first Asian American and the first female Asian American winner of the mayoral race for Boston in literally ever, but also the first female Asian American mayoral winner in the entire history of the United States, shockingly NPR (who’s usually left leaning) tweets this divisive shit.

What happened to “when they win, we win”? Or does that only apply when Black people win and Asians follow behind? You’d think that such a huge win for Asian Americans and for POCs in general in a city that’s been governed by White men for far too long would be a win for everyone.
