Thanks, Stanley. I’m glad I could help open the dialogue. There’s a lot to uncover and to learn for everyone. As minorities, we all feel like we got the raw end of the deal and it’s true, but we don’t have to fight for crumbs. Truth is the history is told by the victors. Who ever wins gets to paint the narrative, but we’re in a different time now and there’s space for everyone. We need to work hard at uncovering the truth and trying to fight our own internalized biases and learn what it really means to be allies. Thank you for taking the time to read my work.
