I get what you're trying to get at, but I think your opinion is very narrow and unresearched. I found it interesting that you threw Asians and Latinos in there without any acnowledgement of the fact that we're treated differently because we're constantly seen as "other" and "perpetual foreigners" even if we're born here and are three or four generations in. This too effects perhaps why American born aren't compared to immigrant born so much in our two minorities. It's because everyone just assumes that we're always immigrant born.
